The sucessfull candidate will structure and implement a compliance and integrity programme tailored to the needs of the company Group.

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify and mitigate compliance risks
  • Maintain a high responsiveness to employees’ compliance concerns
  • Oversee personal data processing under the applicable data protection regulations and implement relevant policies
  • Carry out compliance investigations and recommend remedies
  • Provide compliance training on a regular basis
  • Gather compliance information and construct responses, improve processes, policies and programs, incl. open reporting
  • Provide legal counsel commercial and other functions as needed (transactional, dispute resolution, governance matters)
  • Act as a point of contact with staff and external parties, including authorities
  • Drive best compliance and legal practices across the Group

Your Profile

  • Law degree from an accredited EU or Swiss University
  • Postgraduate studies in corporate compliance are a plus e.g. ICA qualification
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate compliance and legal matters (including personal data protection) acquired during 5+ years’ professional experience as compliance officer in international corporations
  • Understanding of complex international BOT and partnership transactions in the engineering & construction industry
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills to work with business leaders, supervisory authorities, counsel and external parties in a fast-paced business environment
  • Familiarity with IT security systems
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and German. Other languages are a plus
  • Problem-solving pragmatic attitude
  • Integrity and independence of judgement
  • Ability to travel on short notice
  • The employment base is on 80% (5 days a week) and might be increased to a 100% role depending on the business needs)
